Moe's Chicken N' Dumplings

The famous family recipe


 1 whole chicken 
1 can evaporated  milk 
1 cube  butter 
1 3/4 cups  flour 
5  eggs

Boil
chicken in large pot of salted water until tender #2-3 hrs## Remove chicken from
water and reduce heat to simmer stock# To stock, add butter and all but a small
portion of evaporated milk# In a bowl, mix flour, eggs, remaining evaporated
milk, and enough stock to make a sticky dough# Turn dough out on floured surface  and roll very thin# Cut dough into 1/2" squares and drop one by one into stock,  stirring as necessary to make sure dough squares do not stick together# After  all dough is cut and stirred into stock, boil until done #15 min## Remove  chicken from bone and serve separately or stir into stock#
Season with salt and  pepper
